Dr Bai studied organic chemistry at Zhejiang University from 2012 to 2017, earning a Ph.D. degree with a focus on the study of methodology for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. From 2017 to 2023, he served as the Head of the Process Integration Department at Shanghai Hehui Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., responsible for the research and development of OLED luminescent materials and device structures, flexible encapsulation, and mass production process integration. Since July 2023, Dr Bai has been a partner and deputy general manager at Shanghai Youhe Beide Pharmaceutical Technology, where he led a team in developing a flexible encapsulation material suitable for OLED devices and perovskite solar cells while also focusing on the research and development of photoresist monomer materials.
