Prof Su is an expert of the highest rank in Zhejiang Province, recipient of the National Labor Award, distinguished contributor in Zhejiang Province, and recipient of the special government subsidy from the State Council. He is currently the Executive Director of the Yangtze River Delta Green Pharmaceutical Collaborative Innovation Center, and the Deputy Director of the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Synthetic Drugs. Prof Su has directed over 10 national scientific and technological projects including national support plans, large-scale international collaborations, and National Natural Science Foundation grants, as well as over 20 provincial-level research projects. He has developed 3 category 3.1 new drugs, secured nearly 100 national invention patents, and published over 200 SCI-indexed papers; he has received one Second-Class National Scientific and Technological Invention Award, seven First-Class Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards, and three China Patent Excellence Awards.
